Nurses Coordinator

Anakaren Vargas is one of ALO Bariatrics nutritionists and patient coordinators. Anakaren graduated with her license in Nutrition in 2010 from the University of Valle de Atemajac in Guadalajara, Mexico. She has continued her specialized training in sports medicine, obesity nutrition and psychology, and orthomolecular nutrition (the study of nutritional supplements).

Sandra Castañeda is one of ALO Bariatrics’ nutritionists and patient coordinators. Sandra studied Food Science and Technology in Madrid, Spain earning her bachelor of science degree in 2011. Following her graduation, she continued her studies in nutrition and healthcare quality in food and beverages, earning her full licensure in nutrition in 2012.

Sandra is an approved International Anthropometrist (the study of the human size, shape and proportion.)

Fatima Flores is one of the caring nursing staff at ALO Bariatrics. Fatima graduated with honors from nursing school in 2012 and went on to practice general nursing at Mi Doctor hospital, a hospital well known for their Bariatric Center located just outside of San Diego, before joining ALO Bariatrics in 2013.
